Pre-natal acupuncture

Acupuncture in preparation for birth has an overall strengthening effect and helps you to gain more strength for the birth and the postpartum period. As there is also a direct effect on the cervix, the opening phase can be shortened by up to 2 hours.

As 4 treatments should be given once a week until the birth, the 36th week of pregnancy is the right time for the first session. Further treatments are possible until the birth. Starting later in pregnancy is not advisable.

Please note:
Please wear comfortable clothing, e.g. wide trousers or a skirt, as the acupuncture points are located below the knees. Please refrain from wearing compression stockings/tights during the appointments.

You can book the appointments yourself via our portal. Please note that you should not start before the 36th week of pregnancy. You can add all 4 appointments directly to your shopping cart when booking.

If your baby is born earlier, please let us know by email. There will be no cancellation fees. If you have any further questions, please contact us in advance.
